NEW YEAR, NEW STUFF

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. What do I want out of this year? How can I make it great? The answer is, I don't know. I mean I have a idea of what I want to do, but I feel like most of these things are tried and true resolutions.

Become healthier.
Travel more.
Pay off debt.

Isn't this what everyone wants? Do I need to be more specific? Can I just resolve to make everyday awesome? So here is what I have come up with:

Read 3 classic books.
Start planing (and saving) for a trip to Europe.
Go on more dates with my husband.
Discover more of what Omaha has to offer.
Rediscover my favorite hobbies: playing piano and sewing.

In addition to my personal list, Andrew and I (mostly me) have made a bucket list. Out of two years, we have done very few items on these lists. So this year's bucket list is the other bucket lists combined! Clever, I know.

What are your resolutions? Do you do resolutions? What about bucket lists?

  1. Love your bucket list for 2012 and I think it is a definite indication of your age too (so full of physical activity). I have a few things on my list. I want to make at least 3 trips to Albuquerque this year and because I have the time I want to do some volunteer work. I finally quit smoking last year and so I want to faithfully use my treadmill every day. How's that for starters? Kathy

  2. Lovely resolutions! :) Let me know if I can help out with that bucket list! I'd love some quirky, fun things to do! Plus, we are so due for another long summer weekend in Omaha, so watch out!

  3. Check out the taco ride facebook page - www.facebook.com/TacoRide

Basically a bike ride, with dinner and drinks at the end!
